Aadi's B'day

Aadi, the brave little man celebrated his 8th b'day last week. He suffers from a rare genetic disorder -the dreaded NPC. He became the first recipient of Stem Cell Transplant in the world last month, when the operation was performed on him, in Bangalore. He is showing some progress, which gives us all hope. One day, we hope to see him speak, run and be the happy child that I will always remember him as.

Paintography

Tradition gives way to Technology

Earlier in most shops it was tradition to light a lamp before either framed photographs or little statues of Gods. It was the shopkeeper's way of expressing thanks and to invoke the blessings of the Gods to bring in more business. I was in Ulsoor, one of the oldest parts of Bangalore when I came across a modern version of the old tradition. Instead of the traditional lamp, there were these fairy lights doing a disco-number inside the framed 3D figurines of Hindu Gods. New ways of thanksgiving I guess!

Magical Moments

CANDID SHOT

It was cold and foggy. There was something tender about this picture. It reminded me of my childhood days when my father used to walk me to school. It was a nostalgic moment indeed!
